As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Bulldog and Boxing Babes

While cleaning and preparing for the arrival of tonight's small team fighters, I suddenly couldn't find Rousey.  I had let her on the second floor with me, something I rarely do, but then she disappeared.
Low and behold she was in the tire and looking too cute for me not to snap a picture of her.
Mean girl moment at training tonight when one of my fighters enjoyed the other struggling.  I thought it hilarious so I snapped a picture.  They push each other, sure, but they also praise each other and I happen to think a little bit of an extra push and competition is good.  It's healthy.

Carbs... carbs... carbs.  Hungry girl moment when my fighters left the clubhouse and I opened my fridge.  This is actually tomorrow's lunch but I couldn't resist.  So I ate it.
