As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

What Would You Suggest?... Monday, July 29

My birthday is coming up, it's around the corner, and I was thinking about launching something for the Lil' Sistas in a kind of celebration of me turning another year older here in the Philippines.  I was thinking about taking up a donation and splitting it evening amongst the Center of Hope with the Voice of the Free and Holy Family Home.  I was also thinking of instead of just giving them the cash donation, perhaps buying two standup heavy bags, one for each place.

What do you think?

Cash donation or buy stand up heavy bags?

Have another suggestion, by all means, please let me know!!!

Let me know either your suggestion or which of the two you'd recommend by leaving a comment down below.  Side note here, I get various private messages but please stick to using the comment section.  I miss the 'good old days' when people used to post comments.
