As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Center of It All

Had an interview today with some high school students.
I had warned them that my schedule was super tight so the crew of them showed up an hour early.
Much thanks to them for their donation to the Lil' Sistas Project -- over 100 bottles of soya milk!!!
Starting the session of boxing with the Lil' Sistas off with reciting the Empowered Creed.
These girls are awesome, if I haven't said it enough.  They're so resilient and I feel like every time I come here, I'm learning more about them but also becoming that more protective and prouder of them.
They are tomorrow's warrior women in-the-making.
And they're definitely not to be underestimated.
Always a good time with them but it always goes by so fast.
