As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Catching Up on Work... Sunday, November 10

Wow, made it through one crazy busy last few days, good.

I had coaching in the morning today but then I took the entire day to work on Empowered and catch up on some stuff with the Lil' Sistas Project.  I decided to work from The Refined today which was kind of not the best decisions to do because I ended up running into people, chatting away with them, and then there was a filming event there so that was distracting.

I got most of my work done but definitely not as much as I was anticipating.

Feeling the pressure with it being kind of mid November and not yet having the Christmas Wish List of the dates set yet for the Lil' Sistas Christmas party.  I'll be hosting two parties for them this year plus doing a Christmas Wish List of necessities that they need, so I've bit off perhaps more than I can chew this year.  I'm optimistic though but the realist in me says perhaps I won't be able to deliver for the Wish List of the Center of Hope.  They haven't really given me a specific answer and so I haven't been able to put it out there for my fighters, the community or even so much as the universe to put in motion and make happen.  The Wish List of Holy Family Home, however, I've been super productive about it and have actually checked off the biggest of items on their list and, as of today, I may have actually got two out of their three items.  As for the their third item, I've been working on that for the past several months with a company who had promised me but who has since got tied up in paperwork legalities regarding it so I don't know if it'll happen before Christmas.

The plan is to confirm the Lil' Sistas Christmas Wish List this week and blast it out there for everyone to jump on and help me check off.  Let's see how this goes.
