As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Fairytale Wedding

Viola, my full look -- long dress and a face professionally glammed up.
I attended a posh wedding today; it was the wedding of one of Skittles' cousins.
Two years ago I had attended the groom's sister's wedding but this was nothing like hers.
Both were super beautiful but this one, wow, it oozed with fairytale romance.
I loved the waiting room lounge they had created but the main reception room, wow.
I don't know how to even begin to describe just how beautiful it was.
As for my date, he changed into a second suit for the reception.
Both suits were three piece and I think it's fair to say he was much prettier than me.

Then, of course, there was the food.  I liked one of the first dishes until they told me that it was duck-something to which I thought they said duck liver and instantly felt sick to my stomach.  Turns out it was duck FAT, not duck liver.  I don't know what's worse though and I just couldn't bring myself to eat this overly expensive dish.
Wow... this picture says it all.  The wedding was absolutely gorgeous!!!
