As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Starting the New Year Busy

Finished writing out my New Year Resolutions today and they're good.  I mean, they're REAL good!
Headed out to MJKO Boxing Club today, to check out their new location and meet with their Coach.
Coach Miranda and I both started boxing with the same coach, Coach Egerton, and we've both taken our love of boxing to the next level and to the kids.  She runs a nonprofit boxing club for kids and today we got to sit and talk about a possible collab.  I also got to meet more of her amazing crew.

In the evening, I headed out to Whitby where I was joined by my family and taken to an age-old family favourite restaurant -- Teddy's.  I got to see my little nieces one last time.  I'm sure the next time I see them they won'd be so little though.
