As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hi Amy,
Those are some really nice trophies on display there. Is there one there for your last fight which you won? I hope so. I thought you did really well in it. I watched it several times.
Any breakthrough with my boxing Shauna? Maybe a little in last weeks practice. Had two sessions like usual and the first round I had with her we sort of exchanged jabs and punches and didn’t do bad. She’s very disciplined I’ll give her that I tell you Amy she looks open a lot when I go to throw a jab and beats me to it. It’s just she is so fast and her jab is a killer. She also throws punches in bunches as they say sometimes. Heh heh. Kind of hard to explain but it’s frustrating and challenging to try and better her when sparring. I hope you understand what I’m saying but you being a boxer also you probably do. I’m sure I’ll get better with practice if I stick with it.

Amy,
I hope you get that match in April. That would be good. I thought you did well in your last fight.

Hi Beth,
Yes, my trophy is there. It's the third one from the right, in the white trimmed glass box ;)
Hahaha... sounds like Shauna is just like Panty Boy Jr. He always makes himself so open for his opponent, I think it's part of his game though cause they never get him on it.
Just keep up with the training and you'll be able to take her in no time.
How's your eating going? You mentioned before that you wanted to change up your eating habits? Good piece of advice, eat 5 small meals a day, every 2.5-3 hours. Be sure to eat a little bit of protein with each and include a lot of veggies in meals 3-5.
Thank you again for the props on my fight, much appreciated.
you are are tough fighter. Great job
