As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Tonight the beautiful women of Flipside Fitness gathered for A Very, Merry Sugarplum Christmas -- 9 fabulously fun females, 2 very lucky sweet guys, our mascot (Kim Pyen Chi Bere), security (Balboa Button) and side entertainment (Ponyboy Pacquiao).
Several of the ladies brought food but there was one incredible gal that was responsible for the food.  She cooked up quite a fierce storm, so big in fact that I had to get Snickers to drive out to help her bring it all over!!!  I'm talking about spinach dip, brownies, flavored nuts... and pumpkin pie!!!  With it being Christmas, I thought it only appropriate for them to indulge and skip out on eating clean.  They've got 364 other days to worry about that.
I split the ladies up into three teams and together they competed against each other.
In the end, Team Ash Shitake won in a tie-breaker game of musical chairs.
Grand prize for Team Ash Shitake, sleeping privileges for the sleigh bed.  But because only one member of their three member team stayed the night, this meant they got to pick two more people to join them.  I scored a spot (because I was the hostess and morning breakfast cook) and so did Atomic-B.
The others had to sleep on the floor -- here's some of them squished together and passed out.
We also made ornaments too, as a kind of keep sake memory of our great Christmas together.  Our Christmas tree looked so pretty with all their personalize ornaments!
Here's the little party favor I had made for them all -- a little coffee cup filled with a few of my favorite chocolates and a little personalized letter I wrote to each who came out.
In the morning, I woke up early and cooked my protein-packed pancakes for each lady.  Some had asked for blueberry ones while others had cinnamon ones.  What better way to kick off Christmas day than with a home-cooked super healthy breakfast and surrounded by super sweet ladies!!!

Then we had our Secret Santa gift exchange.
Honestly, I was so impressed with the close detail and thought that each lady had put into their gift.  Their gifts were so person-appropriate!!!  My Secret Santa got me a Wonder Woman case, a Wonder Woman business card holder and a "fighting" pen.  I love, love, LOVE the it; it's definitely screams me!  After our Secret Santa activity, we sat around, sipping on coffee while we chatted the morning away and watched another movie.
