As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

While I stayed all snug in my house with my 3 four-legged cuties by my side, Snickers and Wonder Boy ventured out in the wee hours to do get into trouble.  Operation Seoraksan -- one of Korea's tallest and most notoriously beautiful mountains.
The mountain is super icy, snowed over, and definitely dangerous, perhaps that's why it's bordered off and patrolled by security so no one climbs it.  Leave it to Snickers and Wonder Boy though to dodge the security  and head up the mountain for a two day hike.

And while the two guys were off illegally climbing a mountain, I stayed home alone with my 3 four-legged pups.  Finally got around to uploading the pics off of Snickers' camera.
One of my favourite places in Cheonan -- a tucked away mountain side where we watch the para gliders soar over us, the pups play, there's no sound of any traffic or people, and Young Bin and I sip on coffee during a random day-date.
Balboa was driving me a bit crazy today with his over hyperness and waist-high jumping... but then I stumbled across this pic.  Couldn't help but smile at the sight of him.  So often I mistake his excessive hyperness for stirring up trouble and being disobedient when in fact he's just such a happy little boy.
I love my four-legged friends and I'm convinced that everyone needs one.
One of my favourite places in Korea -- a totally disserted beach we stumbled across in the middle of the night, pitched a tent on and started a campfire.  In the morning we learned just how disserted it was; it was awesome!!!
And, of course, my favourite gal -- Pyen Chi.  She's so beautifully strong and such a smart gal.
