As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Forget the Beach, We Found a Lake

A trip to the beach landed us a most unexpected trip to a new place -- a lake out in Asan.
We arrived just as the sun was going down so we had some time to enjoy the sun's glow.
Along part of the path there was some creative art pieces on display that acted more like entertaining interactive pieces for people passing by.
I thought it rather strange but I liked the idea.
They also had a little petting zoo.  Snickers liked the bunnies but I was all smiles and giggles when I caught sight of the goats -- I LOVE GOATS!!!
We kind of snuck into where the sheep were supposedly hiding and I caught the attention of some random girl's dog who decided I was more fun than the crowd hanging over it.
Not too sure what the heck Snickers was doing here, I think just trying to make me laugh, but he pulled off some sweet moves and scored a sunset kiss from me.
... what a beautiful view!!!
