As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hitting the Path out in Asan

Here we are, pre long run.
After a couple of weeks of testing out other potential running partners, I thought I'd take this particular Hulkie up on her offer to do a long run with me.  And while I've done a few half marathons and consider myself a pretty good runner, this little lady has done several FULL marathons.  And they're not just any marathons but some of the most challenging.
Nice, while us ladies are busting our butts getting in the mileage around the lake, Snickers sits reading his comics.  Today he posed as our driver/cheerleader.  Thanks babe.
Here's this week's long run results:
17.02kms in 1:34, making our pacing 5:32mins/km.... sweet.
Our goal was to keep it under 6 minutes a kilometer.  SUCCESS IS OURS!!!!
Showing off the guns because we kicked butt... we kicked our own butts!!!
Proudly fierce, proudly female, and proudly clocking in a successful long run, nice!!!
