After everyone left and 8pm rolled around,
it was time for Snickers and I to close the club and head out for our usual
Sunday “date night dinner”. It felt
funny though, being able to leave at 8pm when most days we’re here till
midnight or later, even on our day off too.
At dinner, we talked about our goals for
the club and personal fitness goals. My
initial one year goal of acquiring 70 members is now becoming a quick reality
in the span of our first month of business.
Snickers let it known that he wants to get into UFC fighting and I
talked to him about my frustrations with my own training. This past week Snickers became my new
official coach which only has made it that much harder to get in training
considering we so busy training our club’s members and Snickers training me ties both of us up.
Business has been great but training for us has been bad, our own personal training that
is. So we’ve decided that Snickers will
train at the start of our work day and I’ll train closer to the end. In addition to all the training of members
and trying to squeeze in our own training, there is of course the background
work that most don’t see – preparing the juice bar, dealing with our suppliers,
ordering additional things and meeting with sponsors.
I’m struggling to do the next issue of the Fab Gals Gab for Flipside Fitness -- a 10 page magazine that I only have two other contributors adding to it. It’s been a matter of sneaking into the
office to brainstorm a couple of ideas or search online. Tonight after we ate and then made a set plan
on how to really attack our own personal goals, we headed back to the
club. Snickers brought all our pups to the club and played with them so that I could get in a couple of solid hours of steady work on
the magazine and a friend’s bodybuilding homepage I manage for her.
Around 1am we got a text from Mouse Doctor, Pacquiao's mother had just had puppies. Instantly we locked up the club and raced over. I counted nine puppies but I was sure there was more -- there was 13. Add that to my list of things to do now -- helping them all find proper homes.
After, we returned to the club to work some more.Today we were scheduled to work from 2pm to
8pm but left at 3:30am.

man, why don't they get that dog spayed?! Also, I think you're putting too much pressure on yourself for that magazine. 10 pages is a lot! Maybe switch it to bimonthly or until you can get more contributors.
Hi Jacky,
Oh, I TOTALLY agree with getting that dog spayed or the other one neutered! The father dog doesn't usually stick around the house though, it's been known to jump the 8 foot stone wall and leave so I think it just wasn't coming back. Apparently it did and when it did it got the other one pregnant. 13 babies though... ouch!!! Last time she had 9 and two died.
As for the magazine, I was thinking of doing it bimonthly but I think if it's bimonthly than perhaps the interest in it may die. Not sure. Just wish others would help.
