As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Busy Business as Usual

Started my work day off with a loud dose of WOW -- WOW Motors President and sons that is.
And who is that wearing short-shorts?!
Snickers wears short-shorts.  They're an instant reminder of how he snagged my attention in the first place, back in the day at our old boxing club when he was just but a boy training with extra long legs and cute duck bum.  He's still got those strong legs I love and cute duck bum but now he's my man.
... and then he does things like this -- he reminds me that he's 28 really going on 12.  I've always said that healthy clean eating, regular exercise and lack of stress in my life keep me young but I definitely have to give being married to a man 4 years my junior credit here.
Ended my work day on a fabulous note -- my Poster Child Girl won our one month free membership draw!!!  I was seriously so excited when I read whose name had been pulled.  I jumped, I screamed, I even ran around and hugged some of my members; I was just so happy she had won.
