As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Beach Birthday Fun!!!

Woke up with the sun in my eyes, the ocean waves in my ears... and Pyen Chi's fur in my mouth.
Waking up to the sight of the ocean at the tip of my toes was beautiful.  I had come here with Snickers and Pyen Chi -- my favourite man and my favourite girl.  We opted out on bringing along Balboa and Pac on account that we knew there'd be other people and, well let's face it, 3 four-legged babies to look after isn't exactly a walk in the park.
We had slept in but woke up just in time to BBQ-up a quick feast of meat and veggies... ultra delish!!!
... and of course an afternoon coffee was in order too;)

Snickers said all my eating had broken the hammock but I'm sure his ghetto string had something to do with it.  Regardless, I insisted on laying in this half-up hammock... just because;)
Beach fun proved to be more amusing than expected on account that apparently Pyen Chi is afraid of the crashing waves.  She'd run in but just as quick as she came into the water she was quick to get out.
This is how we finally got Pyen Chi to go in more than ankle deep water; Snickers carried her in.  What a big baby -- the both of them are two big babies actually.
