As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Results are in from Round One of the Plank Challenge

This month's challenge at Hulk's is the plank.
We've been having a lot of fun with this particular challenge, especially because of the success from the previous one.  While many of the members have been using each other's plank time as competition, I had a lot of fun teasing some of them.  I teased one of the WOW Brothers, egging him on to continue and telling him that he "couldn't possibly lose to a girl", to me.
Snickers impressed us all with killing everyone's time.
I too was guilty of using a fellow Hulk's member time to go by.  There was no way I was going to stand proud as their coach if I didn't beat all the girls.
But then today we had one last member to participate -- a member I was too busy on Tuesday with training other members to have her try her shot at the plank before she got down to training.
She beat me.  She beat me by ten seconds.
This means war... a friendly war but none the less w-a-r!!!
