One of the perks of my job are all those you-wouldn't-believe-what-I-saw moments.
1. Saw a girl twirl on a skateboard in the club and then go flying of it... oh wait, that was me. Now have a goose egg on the back of my head.
2. Upon announcing it was Pyen Chi's last day, I saw countless Hulkies (mainly the guys) kiss her goodbye as they left. I know she will be missed but I am not sure who will miss who more. Pyen Chi does adore some particular Hulkies!
3. Saw karma in full action when a pesky parker pulled out of our parking lot only to hit another pesky parker about to pull in. You couldn't have planned it better even if you had tried!
4. Saw a member who most would consider as not being really the competition for some of our fitter guys totally kill the competition in a spontaneous squat challenge. I was so proud of him!
5. Saw one Hulkie attempt to give another Hulkie a high five and accidentally slap him in the forehead... funniest e.v.e.r!!!
6. Many members horse play with Pyen Chi but today's horse play turned into monkey play when one member decided to swing upside down from our monkey bars.
7. Had to apologise and give extra loud props to some girls after I saw them squatting an amount they clearly couldn't do just a month ago. Didn't mean to underestimate them but also didn't realise those gals had some Thundra thighs developing under their training clothes, very cool.
8. Met the younger brother of my young Hulkies and he is too cute. He called me pretty, I called him handsome, and then we both giggled.
9. Watched as my oldest Hulkie and our most potential amateur boxer (WOW President and Kato) battle it out in the ring with some sparring. WOW and Kato are father and son and I just think it's too cool that they train together. WOW makes for a wicked runner up to my own father who is adorably cute and super fun.
10. One of my Hulkies (Korean) told me he missed Tim Horton's coffee so today I surprised him by making him a cup of it from my secret stash at home and bringing it in. He took a sip and then the cup of Timmies made its way around the club members. They seemed so confused as to why Canadians would be so hyper about it.
11. A young Hulkie who has been super scared of Pyen Chi from day one finally mustard up the courage to pet her. One pet on the head turned into several pets and then, next thing we knew it, she was hugging Pyen Chi.
12. The look on one member's face when I told her Snickers is my husband was priceless. I still don't understand how people don't know. Do they think I'm just a random foreign girl who landed a sweet job?! Note to self, up the PDA with Snickers at the club.
