As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Bus Hunt for a Hair Chop

Today I was on the bus... twice.  That's two times more than I have ever been in the last 2-3 years actually.
I liked it.  I used to scooter it every where but now I usually walk or jog every where, like to work and the grocery store, or am driven either by Snickers, my sponsor or friends.
And because I haven't taken the bus in so long, I had no idea how much it cost.  I gave the bus driver a 5,000won bill ($5) and then was left laughing my head off in front of everyone on the bus as he pressed and pressed the change machine for my appropriate change to come out.
I chopped my hair today, hence the city-wide bus ride "hunt" for the hair shop I never did end up finding.
Ended up going to my neighbour's shop for my chop.
I wanted an asymmetrical pixie cut with a light fringe on the one side and a more tapered neckline... viola.
I vouch that both the model and I have the same cut, though she's prettier.  Leave it to Snickers to vouch he prefers the "Polish girl that can kick the model's butt"... nice.  And that's why he's my husband... hahaha.
