As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Much-Needed Extra Cup of Coffee kind of Day

Stepping in our Hulkies' coffee shop today was quite the experience -- it was absolutely stunning!!!
I totally love the large bar counter so that's where we sat, watching our Hulkie make us delish coffee.

Love the interior!!!
It's such a mixture of old fashion and interesting antiques.
After filling up on coffee (my second and last cup for the day), it was off to Dankook for flyer work.
The mixture of the sweet students, beautiful weather and pretty cherry blossoms made this more of a pleasurable thing than a business thing.
Next it was off to Beat Boxing to see my friend.  We had some things to discuss and then lunch to enjoy.
Later in the evening, after an already super busy, kick a$$ day, who should walk into Hulk's but a very special visitor.  He just so randomly showed up and consider the hours of commute it cost him, we were all so shocked when he walked in.  It's Brooklyn!!!
