As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Too Busy to Write, Sorry... Tuesday, April 22

We've been too ridiculously busy these days for me to get in my boxing later in the evening.  Our "golden hours" are 7-9pm (our busiest time) but we've been pretty busy up until closing actually.  I've been pretty consistent with getting in my weight training, more than consistent and sometimes even boarder line over training with it.  There are various Hulkies who come specifically to train just with me and by train with me I mean they expect and anticipate me to do the same training their doing, alongside them.  It's great in that I get to really push them in their training and they push me too, but today I had four of these specific situations occur.  By 9pm I simply was exhausted but then came another two members who wanted me to do Spartan abs with them.  It was the third time I had trained abs just today.  It was also the second time I had done the Spartan abs circuit today, bringing my ab count up to 600 in two training sessions.
