As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Cup of Tree?!

The basics of what it means to wake up to three four-legged babies...
First there is the initial overdose of excitement as they all want to greet and kiss us.
Snickers initiates some morning play time but as Pyen Chi tries to go in for a kiss, Balboa jumps all over, and Pacquiao tries to attack the others because he doesn't want to share his morning time with the others.
Eventually they somewhat calm down, with the key words being "eventually" and "somewhat".

Then Snickers makes them all wait their turn as he then hugs and kisses them each individually.
Pyen Chi always gets first dibs with Snickers, she is his little lady.
Later in the day, after our four-legged babies had all been played with and pooped-out, passed out on the floor, Snickers and I headed out for a coffee date.
Snickers likes this particular Hawaiian coffee.  I'm not too sure what it's made of beside an overdose of temptation in the form of chocolate sprinkles on a massive load of fresh whipped cream.
And no, this wasn't what I ordered.  I don't particularly care for a cup of tree.
Seriously, there was a tree in this cup... hahaha.
OK, so it was just for decoration but I just about peed my pants laughing over it.  I thought my "cup of tree" joke was just soooo funny.  Definitely a Polish thing, the dry humour that is.
