As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

My Guy, Some Crazy Guys, and One Crazy-Tired Coach

We've been doing some back room renovations here at Hulk's, so we go in extra early to slave away at them.  Today we ended our renovation work time by pulling up one of our sofas to the window for some people-watching time while we ate lunch together.
Speaking of people-watching, many Koreans are watching this group of guys -- Cuckoo Crew.
(I train the two guys on the far left and the little shorty with the glasses in the middle).
And if you come to Hulk's, you can watch three of them too.  Mind you they're not doing what they're doing on the Internet, instead they're training hard and learning boxing.
We had a packed club today, trained 52 members -- our highest attendance to date.
And this is what it looks like after going full force with training so many members and doing your own training... note, this is where you notice me totally passed out on the couch.  Despite the loud noises of people training and Snickers yelling, despite the round bell going off every 2 minutes and despite the blaring music, I totally crashed.
