As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Fantastic Food and People Triathlon

It was a triathlon of food today, apparently, and it was also the
OFFICIAL FIRST BIRTHDAY OF HULK'S BOXING!!!
And it was kicked off with my Sunday Morning Breakfast Club meeting, where I brought my fire-in-my-mouth scrambled eggs and indulged in some other delish food, including some homemade bread!
Second event, fresh seafood Snickers had picked up at the ocean yesterday.
We headed over to Mama Kim's house and she helped us cook these bad boys up... yum!
The last "event" for today was a special VIP dinner out.  We had picked certain members to treat so where did we take them, only our most favourite high class restaurant, of course -- La Cubo.
Only the best for our Hulkies.
[Note, check out the size difference in the plate and my hand... HULK HUGE!!!]
It may have cost and arm and a leg to treat a select group of Hulkies out to a six course meal but it felt so good to do some.  All these guys who sit beside me here are definitely very special to us at Hulk's!
And thanks to our friend 5Star, the manager of La Cubo, for the amazing surprise birthday cake!!!
It surely was a triathlon of a day food wise and though we ended it with a fully belly of delish foods, it had been accompanied with fantastic people, sweet warm places, and lots of fond memories.
