As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Getting Down and Silly with Our Hulkies

We're bringing the 80's back, oh ya baby, and with super fun Hulkies like these sporting the 80's headbands who really cares what the heck anyone says about them.  We'll be cool on our own terms, thank you very much.
The notion of what's cool and what's not cool totally goes out the door when people come in ours.  We only care who is hulking out and who hulk smashed their workout.  Go green, get mean and get lean.
Speaking of getting lean, this lovely Hulkie totally hulk smashed her monthly weigh-in today, ending her time here at Hulk's on such a positive note.  I was so proud of her and, honestly speaking, proud of myself too for getting her to rethink her ways and take me up on my promise.
Love these two Hulkies, I call them my personal part time assistants and they've very much a big part of Hulk's here.... ok, as is Snickers... hahaha.
First thing on my assistant's things to do list today was looking after me.  After a friendly game of ball turned quite painful and bloody, they then tended to me and made sure I was ok.  Thanks ladies.
A frozen banana and my finger, that's what you're looking at.  And if you think that's rather strange or gross, well, be thankful it's stuck in the banana and you're not seeing what it looks like!
