As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Lazy Lounging to Fueling up at Full Speed

As if it weren't hard enough to wake up in my bedroom given the fact that you seriously can't tell whether it's day or night, throw in 3 four-legged friends who act as pure snuggle buddies and well, you can see my dilemma.
Note I apparently was unaware that I was snuggled up to Pyen Chi's bum, real classy.
And though we don't really watch TV anymore, you can see the dilemma we face when we do.  Our four-legged friends appear to have migrated from our bed to the couch.
Tonight we hosted a Free Train at Hulk's.  I wanted to exercise and Snickers, well, he HAD to exercise.  Apparently the fight that had been canceled, rescheduled, and then canceled was given the go-ahead this afternoon.
Fight day is tomorrow, meaning he only had today to prepare, great.
After training hard we ate hard.  We loaded up the WOW gangsta car and headed out for super spicy meat.  With tomorrow being fight day, Snickers had to load up on some extra starchy carbs and I was all about my post training protein and carbs.
