As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Fierce Females Steal the Ring's Spotlight

With it being Friday, we kicked off the evening and ended the work week with Sparring Day.
It was Snickers against 11 others tonight.
Some of them brought a lot more experience to the ring than others but all caught the spotlight.
I'd have to say that this particular fight was of extra interest to me.
This girl is like a ninja.  She's full of confidence but super humble and quiet about her skills.
Props to this Hulkie, for stepping into the ring tonight for her first time and for tonight also marking the first time she's ever done any kind of boxing here at Hulk's (because usually she just does weight training).
Standing in at MAYBE 5 feet, she's a super cutie.
And her going against Snickers, a 6 foot something man, there was definitely a lot of distracting cuteness to this sparring match!!!
