As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Off to Church We Go

Headed off to church today and can you guess who I went with?!
The church was massive, you could see it blocks away, but it wasn't until I went on the property that I saw just how massive it was.  Check out this random fountain area... woozers!
I must admit I struggled with figuring out what to wear.  My days of teaching English are loooooong gone and so are most of my teacher-teaching clothes.
After church we headed out for lunch, which for me felt more like an audition for Fear Factor.
This is black chicken.  I've eaten it before but last time it didn't have the black skin bubbling and bouncing around in the water.
I pretty much stuck to making Snickers pick the meat off the bones for me to eat and eating the side dishes.
Sunday church and Sunday's lunch out was followed by a drive in the country side.  We wanted to show WOW the piece of land we've got our eye on.  It's pretty much in the middle of no where, beside a lake and nothing less than a 5-10 minute car ride away... awesome!!!
