As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hulk's Scores an Impressive Record... Saturday, November 22

As of today, our fight track record for Hulk's is 11 fights -- 9 wins and 2 losses.  And with us only have just recently stepped in the ring to fight on behalf of Hulk's, the record is pretty impressive.  All these fights have taken place pretty much only in the past few months and most of the members we took today as our amateur team weren't exactly ring-ready but they wanted to fight.  I'll always have props and respect for anyone who steps into the ring, regardless of if they won or lost.  Working the sandbag and doing padwork with the coach is one thing, it's a whole other game when you step into the ring.  It's just you and all the skills, combos, footwork, and image training you've done that will get you through the round.

Our fight record includes the following winning fights from the following fighters:

Snickers
He scored a 2nd round TKO in his first ever MMA cage fight.

Me
I scored a 5th round KO at my "return fight" in Thailand which put me back in the rankings. Currently I'm ranked as the #53 female light flyweight in the Women's International Boxing Association November rankings.

Kato
He has 4 fights to his amateur record with today him winning his fight and then winning his fight in the finals.  Of his 4 fights, 2 are TKO wins.  He won his first amateur fight with a TKO in the first round, definitely impressive.

Mouse Doctor
Today he surprised the crowd with his street fighting, wild style and won his first fight with a TKO. He then went on to the finals and won that two, so he is 2 for 2 fights.

S.J.
Stepping into the ring and representing the "older boxer", S.J. wowed the crowd today with his second round TKO.  He would have and should have gone on to fight a second fight for the finals but there was a limited number of boxers in his age/weight class.

Hulk's Boxing : 11 fights, 9 wins (5 TKO, 1KO), 2 losses
