As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Screw the Friday Night Clubs, Hulk's is My Kind of Club

Nothing like boys being boys, battling it out on the club floor, as opposed to the ring, and having fun.
With tomorrow being my weekly long run, tonight I got to enjoy some carb-loading -- raw beef bibimbap and yes I ate ALL the rice that came with it.  Thanks for the carb-loading surprise meal guys!!!

Through a little birthday party for one of my mini Hulkies who has also been labelled one of my "mini assistants".  She turned 12 this past week so today we surprised her with a cake and gifts.
Fun on a Friday night, that's what it's all about here at Hulk's!
Even Pyen Chi got in on the fun and made an appearance at the birthday party.
We all sat around eating birthday cake and chatted about the upcoming amateur tournament.
WE NOW HAVE FIVE MEMBERS ON THE HULK'S BOXING AMATEUR TEAM!!!
Grilled octopus and, my favourite...
grilled dried fish!!!  This stuff smells stinky but it tastes so yummy.

Today's club food consumption:
Our10kg box of tangerines that we just got that yesterday was finished off today.
12 eggs, 3 heads of broccoli and 4 heads of spinach.
One $20 birthday cake.
About $20 worth of dried octopus and fish.
