As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Going for a Summer's Chop on a Winter Night

These screen shots of my phone were the Pinterest pics I showed my hair stylist.
I told her I wanted to keep the length on my right but chop it super short on the left and back.
Now I could be nice and post a few pictures of the final cut, but like I always say, "I have never said I was nice", and so I'll just give you a teaser.
(Honestly, I was just not in the mood to take a pixie cut selfie.  A friend had unexpectedly cancelled plans after I rearranged my evening and rushed to get ready after training.  So this picture here, this is me trying to smile as I sit all dolled up and absolutely no place to go on a Sunday night.)
