At our Wine & Cake party yesterday I had noted to a friend that I'd consider his hair styling advice for my next fight. He had told me to cut the left side of my head super short, buzz it, and I had joked about getting scratches done in it. All this was said before I got that unexpected phone call from Thailand, so it was just talk but then I started to think about. I'm not so attached to my hair, I never really was, plus it's not like I go out so much to really care about it. When I'm boxing, the front layers get pulled up into a side pigtail. When I'm running, it gets all shoved under my baseball cap. And when I'm not training, well,
Today I got my hair cut and though I didn't get the one side buzzed or scratches put in, I did somewhat confuse my hair stylists when I requested she continue chopping it. I had shown her the above pictures from Pinterest but she stopped a few times to ask if I was sure. Snickers backed me up though I must admit even he was a sceptic to it all.
You know it's going to be short when the hair stylist pulls out an electric razor to cut your hair!!!
My asymmetrical pixie cut is now definitely a very exaggerated asymmetrical pixie cut, with one side being 3 inches in length and the other being roughly 10. As for the very back, it's 1 inch in length at the shortest part. I love it but will admit I may go shorter on the left side, maybe chop another inch. As much as I love my new pixie cut, my head is now colder than ever...woozers. We opened the club for Free Train tonight and I had to resort to wearing a hoodie because I simply didn't have the luxury anymore of having hair on my hear to keep me warm.
