As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kicking Up our Heels For Some Much-Needed Down Time

After a long week of work, a long week of training and a long week of trying to raise funds for our new ring, Snickers and I were asked to come by Mama Kim's house. Both Mama Kim and Snickers' sisters had bought a special treat for us.
Now I'll admit I'm not a fan of visiting Mama Kim's house but she's figured out that food is the way to my heart so she always cooks me up a mean feast.
Tonight's feast was a massive king crab the size of Snickers' head!!!
They had actually bought two king crabs but just the one was enough to feed us all.
There were six of us in total that feasted on this bad boy.
And what a feast it was!!!
Even K-Gere showed up for the feast and Mama Kim was up to her elbows in crab.
