As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Loud Snacks and Loud Pants

One of our Hulkies returned from his trip to Japan and brought us back some most delish treats -- Japanese sake and these fried little crunchy wasabi snacks that are mixed with peanuts and that have proven to be way too addicting to me.
I think my in-your-face bright training clothes and strange leggings no longer surprises them but today one newer Hulkie was apparently loving the sight of my bright colours and zebra pants.
I personally love my 80's inspired crop top.... H&M baby.  Replaced my burnt one for $5 thanks to their sale!
Fun, bright colours and animal prints are the way to go.
I used to wear black because I was insecure with my body but I have overcome that with hard training and clean eating.  Now the brighter and crazier are the better and now I only wear black on days when I know I'll be getting down and sweaty on the training floor with our Hulkies.
