As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Free Train Friday Always Means Extra Training for Whomever Joins Me

Started my day off with some down time with the big guys.
...and this is why we don't let the coal heater burn out.
Starting it up is a royal pain in the you-know-where!!!
After boxing today, I returned from my shower to find this surprise gem on my seat... super sweet!!!
Snickers returned from doing errands for the club and hung around a bit while I prepared the envelops for our Indiegogo thank you cards.
In the evening I hosted the Crossfit Challenger class.
This week I only had a small group so I decided to do something different.  I set up 4 stations, each station had 2 exercises and you had to complete 3 sets of 10 each before moving to the next station.
The abs with shoulder presses were rough.  They're so good they're bad, so bad they're good.
Ahhhh... walking lunges.  Good for the bum or, as Koreans say, "hip up"... hahaha.
