As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

If I Were to Make My Own Pins for Pinterest...

I should note that this is how I usually start my work day... everyday... surrounded with lots of female Hulkies and that fact alone is enough inspiration to kick my butt into training hard.
Hulk's is definitely supported by the community and proof is here in the 19 Asian pears that were specially hand delievered to us.  Here's to hoping more of these super cool donations come in the form of money though.  Got to get that new ring!!!
I tried yoga once, stressed the heck out of me.  Had to hit the boxing club after to relieve myself of having to breath in, breath out, touch my head with my toe and all that slow-motion stuff that drive me bonkers.
So we got a little distracted at training tonight with the fights on the television, no worries.
We train hard and all training and no play makes for a very rough, long day.
