As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Last Day Before the Holiday

With it being the day before we close for the long Seollal New Year holiday, members who came for training tonight were pushed extra hard.  They really hulked out.  Note even Mickey Mouse hulked out...hahaha.
My buddy Stark dropped by the club tonight.  Leave it to a classy guy like him to train in a pin-stripe suit.
Hard training was followed by a surprise feast thanks to some Hulkies who wanted to celebrate with us tonight.  Lots of celebrations this past week -- Valentine's Day, the start of my 11th year, the Seollal New Year, and a five day holiday!!!
There were lots of veggie side dishes but even more meat!
And then a plate of my favourite meat greeted my eyes -- raw, sauteed beef!!!

And just for the fun of it, I decided to take one of the above shots and play around with it.
 This is what we'd look like it, I don't know... if Korean men could grow such robus facial hair and we liked hats... I guess...hahaha.
This shot is dead on though.  This would be us if we all were wild animals!
