As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Trying to Stay Warm

There's not much to little old Balboa to cuddle with and keep me warm but it is nice to have him with me as I too battle out the cold of our big club.
The club will be closed till next Monday because of the holiday and so for now our beautiful four-legged friends have ample of freedom and time to run around and play.

I headed out of the club in the evening to meet up with a Hulkie/friend.
He had invited friends over for a Harry Potter marathon and had extended the invite to me though he noted he knew I wasn't into Potter.
He was totally right, he knows me well, but I went because I'm into him, he's a great guy... and I couldn't let all that free heat of the beautiful heated floors go to waste... hahaha.
