As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Running Full Speed All Day and Into the Evening

Kicked off what I totally expected to be a super jam-packed action day with our last long run for our marathon training.  Snickers and one of our Hulkies joined us on the ride out to our run location and then they played catch while us ladies slaved away at our training.
No sooner did I finish my run but then it was off to get my post training meal in, shower and then head out at the grand opening of Mouse Doctor's new business -- RS Motors.
Mouse Doctor put on quite an impressive grand opening party and we got to meet up with a lot of our friends.  There was a buffet and a traditional pig's head for us to stuff some good luck money in.

I got treated to some overly girly new runners today; a much-needed item because today we walked all around downtown Cheonan and then headed over to the cherry blossom festival at Bugil High School.
With the weather being absolutely gorgeous today, we decided to clean up Franky-G and take him out on his first ride for scooter season 2015.
Catching some sights, cuddles and couple time at the cherry blossom festival.
What's a Korean festival without some amazing food?  Exactly.
Anyone care to eat Wilbur?
The cherry blossoms at the festival are always so pretty.
The trees look like they're covered in snow because of the super pale pink blossoms.
Consequently, the school grounds for the festival gets completely infested with spectators.
This was the first year Bugil High School's cherry festival didn't have a concert which I thought rather strange because it was also the 40th anniversary of the school.
Regardless, the fireworks were definitely worth the wait.
Now getting out of the festival, that was a whole other story!!!
