As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Full Friday of Driving and Training

With exactly 2 hours and 52 minutes of sleep, at 6am Kato, The First Son, Snickers, and I jumped into our truck and headed to Incheon airport, a 2hr drive away, to pick up someone that is very extremely special to all of us.
There he is and look at how happy Snickers is.  He was so super giddy!!!
Looks like I'm not the only one that has shaved their head.  My head is only half shaved but he went for the full deal, woozers.  Even he isn't used to it yet... hahaha.
After picking up our special person, we then went to go visit his friend (one of our Hulkies) in the hospital.  Last Friday a SUV his him as he was crossing the street on his bicycle.  Scary stuff.
The early morning wake-up and long drive proved to be too hard on Kato.  Here he is sleeping on our office couch when he's supposed to be training.
Proud coach moment here -- Hulkies training hard on a late Friday night.
Spiderman push-ups across the Hulk floor.
Followed up with a lap of walking lunges and so much more "fun" stuff.
