As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For the Love of Wonder Women

One of the things most visitors and new people to Hulk's Boxing notice is the excess amount of women here.  Yes, we are not your average Korean boxing club.
We've got a large number of women here and they definitely are a force to reckon with!
I snapped this picture tonight of four of our female mini Hulkies, hulking it out on the ropes.
The youngest ones (my "mini assistants) are age 10 and 12.  The other two girls are both 14 years of age.  All super young, all super fabulously fierce!!!
I personally take great pride in not only our mini Hulkies but also in our female Hulkies because never before have I personally trained at a boxing club where so many young members and so many female members trained so hard.  It's inspiring.
