As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fun on the Job

They look like they're doing their warm-up training for boxing but what you don't know is they're really singing old school K-pop songs at the top of their lungs.
We've got a large healthy crew of mini Hulkies and while I'm biased about the awesomeness of the female mini Hulkies Snickers definitely has bonded with the boys.
Right as school ends our mini Hulkies flood Hulk's.  Most of them play ping-pong or pool while they wait for their friends and then many of them train together.  Thankfully Kato is at Hulk's a lot and he helps train them with sandbag work.
This is another fun part of my job, being visited by former Hulkies.
Tonight one of much loved Hulkies dropped by the club tonight bearing ice cream and news of his anticipated return.  Pyen Chi was particularly happy to hear he will be returning but then again Pyen Chi loves all the extra pretty boys.
