As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Fight on the Big Screen Brings a Crowd

First to arrive at our Fight Day party were two lovely ladies.
We had a good giggle over the fact that all three of us foreign ladies are married to Korean men.

Next to arrive was the pile of pizzas and bottles of juice and pop.

KBS set up various cameras to catch the action and reactions of our party crowd.
And then a crowd of eager fight fans arrived.
For the most part our crowd was Team Pac but we did have a few Mayweather fans.
After the fight, many stuck around for some "friendly" ping-pong playing, which really means some intense ping-pong competition with money on the table.
I stuck to just chatting with my friends while the others sweated it out in ping-pong.

When the crowd had all left the club, Snickers and I then headed over to our friend's hair shop for a hair cut.
And then we ended the evening with a delish dinner out at Wow's restaurant
...and one big hug from Wow Mama.
