As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Today Was Feast Day

Breakfast is my most favourite of favourite meals, unfortunately though for me I eat it alone every single day.  Today I insisted Snickers and I check out a brunch restaurant I once eyed.
It has a super cute patio and a funky-interior kind of restaurant.
Props to this place for a REAL sized cup of morning coffee... mad props here!!!
An egg and tomato sandwich with a side salad wasn't really what I initially wanted as a breakfast dish but it turned out to be super delish.
Snickers said he was super hungry but we did the mistake of ordering a set menu option.  I think it was meant for a small army of 100, not a table of two.
It was a feast for the eyes but a total carb-overload.
Returned to Hulk's to be greeted by these super cute gals.
With their loud hair my hair didn't look so loud anymore.

We did some filming with KBS today which meant Snickers and I stepped into the ring to spar.  For one of the rounds, so that the camera man could get some wicked angle shots, they had us both tuck our foot under his waist and continue with the sparing.
In the evening we headed over to Mama Kim's house for more KBS filming and for a family dinner.
The main course, chicken... my favourite!!!
