As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Am in Love with Toronto... Saturday, July 4

Good morning Toronto, you are so beautiful.  I love you.
Seriously, I don't know how anyone can wake up in a bad mood in this awesome, awesome city.  You've got a bluer-than-blue sky, fresh air, water you can drink from the tap, and for goodness sake the people are just so crazy friendly here... seriously, you're all spoiled!
I feel spoiled staying at a place down the street from the St. Lawrence Market... love that place!!!

And being able to meet up with long time friends over coffee, feeling definitely spoiled.
And in a city that oozes with awesome people, diversity and such friendliness, it should be no surprise that I met yet another new friend today.  He was sitting beside us when I complimented him on his handsome hat.  A chat ignited.  As it turns out, on October 29th he'll be in Korea for a special conference,... talk about a small world!  Now the plan is to meet up in Cheonan, South Korea.
I meet up with my boy J today for souvenir shopping, sandwiches, lots of chatting, and last chance giggles.
I ended up walking him to his bus and saying goodbye to him there.
Why do they call it goodbye when there's really nothing good about the bye?!
Oh Canada... be nice.
Speaking of nice, check out this four-legged friend totally chillaxin' in that stroller.  Rough life.
I love the streetcars here in Toronto.
Not so crazy about the increase in crazy bicycle riders but I love the streetcars!
It's hard to accept the fact that I'll be leaving this big beautiful city in less than a few days. But wait... I'm not.
As of 7:55pm, I officially am NOT leaving this Tuesday morning at 1:45am but instead am leaving Thursday at 1:45am... sweet.  Changed my ticket, no extra charge for that, but knowing I have a couple of extra days to say bye to this city, priceless!!!
