As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Loud and Proud Hulk Family Friday Night

While out downtown running errands before work, I ran into one of my ultimate favourite of favourite female Hulkies.  She's as cute as a button but seriously super intense when she trains and so very strong.  She spotted me as I entered the mall and decided to help me out with my errands... super sweet.
(Note how happy I am to have her assistance... hahaha.)
Caught up on office work during today's Free Train Friday and even got to watch some hard-hitting sparring action with Korea's former Super Welter Weight Champ.

Later in the evening food started showing up at the club... lots of food and lots of people.
It was a party... a surprise party for little old me ;)
Thank you to everyone who prepared and came out tonight, so super sweet.
And thank you for all the kind wishes you gave me regarding my upcoming sabbatical in Canada and thank you for telling me Hulk's won't be the same without me.
I won't be the same without you all either.
My silly Hulkies... they're as silly as they are sweet and I love them all.
