As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kicked off a New Week on such an Awesome Note

Wasn't actually expecting to teach my first BoxFit class today but then Coach Brown asked me to teach his 3pm class so that's what I did.  Had an amazing group!!!
Two of the super fun gals I work with.... all that hair!!! I'm borderline jealous.
No sooner did I finish my class but then security in suits started to file in.
There were a handful of these suited men in the club and watching the front door.
Then "the big guy" walked in... Justin Trudeau!!!  He's so much taller than expected and much better looking too.  Some of my coworkers have crushes on him.
Apparently Mr. Trudeau has been boxing for awhile now, very cool, and today he decided to kick things up a notch and spar, also very cool.
Note, if you don't know who Justin Trudeau is, well, he's pretty much the anticipated next in line to be the new Canadian prime minister so he's a pretty important man.
