As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fitness Fanatic Party... Thursday, September 24

Attended the Catalyst Block Party sponsored by Lululemon.  It started at 7pm.  My crew from PB Boxfit arrived fashionably late at 8:20pm but we came decked out in our "crew gang wear" so we made quite the entrance.  I had invited my boy J and the Polish Princess to come with me.

It was a rooftop party with a guest list comprising of local fitness buffs, fitness guros, and local fitness companies ranging from local gyms and personal trainers to suppliers of protein-packed products.  Our crew was the only boxing club in attendance.
Leave it to a fitness fanatic's party to open up with a massive group crossfit class that had something like 70-80 participants.  Party snacks consisted of protein bars, vegan cookies and an array of mixed veggie drinks and protein smoothies.  Apple beer was also being served with "apple" being the joked about justifable reason why we could all drink it...hahaha.  Apple or not, I don't drink beer but liked the joke.
