As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I Loved the Intensity of Today

Nothing is quite like stepping into the ring with an opponent so much bigger, talented and skilled than you but stepping in with Coach Brown is always as challenging as it is fun.
I got in a good body shot in the second round and scored props for that, nice.
"Will work for food" is what I should put on my resume, seriously.
I know I've trained extra hard when Coach Brown takes me out for breakfast.
Here we are walking down the street with our "club gang wear" on.
Snapped a picture of the kettlebell class I've been doing.
I should note here that all us ladies are older than 34 and the long haired lovely lady beside me is in her 50's!!!  She trains hard and is gorgeous.
