As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Aiming For One Last Run

On Sundays I don't go boxing and I don't go weight training but I run.
Headed out for a run today, hoping and anticipating it to be my last run before I move out of this area so I headed out with a lot of energy.

With my little booty shorts on and runners tied, I hit the path and went straight to the stairs.  Love running the stairs!
This is what's up at the top of the stairs, a bridge that overlooks the forested path.
Ended up spotting this on the railing and wasn't too sure on what to make of it.
Kind of creepy sad, if you know what I'm hinting at.  Was this the site of what I think  may have happened once?!  I don't know but I surely hope not.
My favourite resting spot along the path, a ghetto bridge.
This particular spot sits right at the bottom of where I run the stairs so I always finish my run with some laps up and down the stairs and then a breather here by the bridge.
