As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Awesomeness in the Big City

This was my horoscope for today but this has definitely been the story of the next chapter of my life, or my "new story" as I should say, telling friends, my loved ones, how I really feel and showing them love.
And speaking of showing friends love, today I ran into this awesome friend, like literally ran into him.  He's just so much awesomeness wrapped up in one body!
And of course my boy J, too much awesomeness here.
Today we had lunch together.  I looked like a typical gym rat and he looked all polished.
No awesome person in this pic but it was a pretty awesome sight to see as I headed back to catch the subway home.  God I just love this city and the people in it!
