As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Hulk Takes On a New Site

Introducing Hulk's Club.
This massive painting was the first to go up in the club and I can't even tell you how ironic and symbolic this picture is for me personally.  This captures everything for me.
Less than three months ago this was the scene at the place.
And then the workers came in and started to clean it up.
The site of Hulk's Club is a former bowling alley.
This alley actually occupied both buildings, our old building and our new building, and they had connected the two with a simple tunnel.
I love the high ceiling of it.
A lot has happened since I've left, wow.
What was once an old, used and abused bowling alley is now a big, bold club that houses Hulk's Club and it's so much bigger than Hulk's Boxing.
